We meet every third Wednesday of the month at Unity Hall, Central Road Yeovil, Somerset BA20 1JL.
Yeovil Trades Union Council is made up from delegates from local Trades Union Branches. The meetings start at 7:30pm.

Defend Council Housing (DCH) is opposed to the new Government housing strategy, an all-out assault on council housing. It proposes continued underfunding of council housing, combined with fixed-term tenancies, subsidies for more stock transfers, and increased sale of council homes through Right to Buy, to be replaced with up to 80 per cent market rents. www.defendcouncilhousing.org.uk/

Branches may appoint delegates in accordance with Yeovil District TUC standing orders as shown below at an affiliation fee of 10p per member:
2 delegates for the first 100 or part thereof;
3 delegates if your membership is between 101 and 250;
4 delegates if your membership is between 251 and 500;
10 delegates if your membership exceeds 500.
Trades Union Council activities have three campaign objectives:
Rights: to raise public awareness of rights at work and the Union role in enforcing those rights.
Organisation: to promote organisation and recruitment drives to build the Union membership.
Respect: to support Union and community campaigns for dignity and respect in the workplace and beyond.
